Centerville home prices rise in August 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2017 in Centerville rose by $32,900 while total sales increased by 40%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2017, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $279,900 - a 13.3% increase over the $247,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Centerville in August 2016.

The median sales tax in Centerville for the most recent year with available data, 2014, was $3,266, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for August 2017.
