Columbus home prices rise in May 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2017 in Columbus rose by $165,050 while total sales increased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2017, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $420,000 - a 64.7% increase over the $254,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Columbus in May 2016.

The median sales tax in Columbus for the most recent year with available data, 2014, was $2,762, approximately 0.7% of the median home sale price for May 2017.
