Columbus home prices rise in January 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2017 in Columbus rose by $97,850 while total sales increased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2017, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $312,850 - a 45.5% increase over the $215,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Columbus in January 2016.

The median sales tax in Columbus for the most recent year with available data, 2014, was $2,762, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for January 2017.
