East Bethel home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2017 in East Bethel rose by $14,275 while total sales increased by 60%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2017, there were 40 homes sold, with a median sale price of $244,175 - a 6.2% increase over the $229,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 25 homes sold in East Bethel in the fourth quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in East Bethel for the most recent year with available data, 2014, was $2,289, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2017.
