Andover home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2017 in Andover rose by $9,650 while total sales increased by 20.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2017, there were 100 homes sold, with a median sale price of $272,350 - a 3.7% increase over the $262,700 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 83 homes sold in Andover in the fourth quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Andover for the most recent year with available data, 2014, was $2,531, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2017.
