Centerville home prices rise in the third quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2017 in Centerville rose by $26,600 while total sales increased by 23.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2017, there were 21 homes sold, with a median sale price of $262,500 - a 11.3% increase over the $235,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 17 homes sold in Centerville in the third quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Centerville for the most recent year with available data, 2014, was $3,266, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2017.
