Lexington home prices fall in the second quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2017 in Lexington fell by $13,500 while total sales remained unchanged with four homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2017, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $210,500 - a 6% decrease over the $224,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Lexington in the second quarter of 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in Lexington for the most recent year with available data, 2014, was $2,281, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2017.
