Lexington home prices rise in the first quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2017 in Lexington rose by $9,210 while total sales remained unchanged with three homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2017, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $200,210 - a 4.8% increase over the $191,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Lexington in the first quarter of 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in Lexington for the most recent year with available data, 2014, was $2,281, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2017.
