Ramsey home prices fall in the first quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2017 in Ramsey fell by $3,500 while total sales increased by 5.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2017, there were 60 homes sold, with a median sale price of $239,400 - a 1.4% decrease over the $242,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 57 homes sold in Ramsey in the first quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Ramsey for the most recent year with available data, 2014, was $2,240, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2017.
