St. Francis home prices rise in 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in 2017 in St. Francis rose by $2,500 while total sales increased by 14.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2017, there were 140 homes sold, with a median sale price of $196,000 - a 1.3% increase over the $193,500 median sale price for the previous year. There were 122 homes sold in St. Francis in 2016.

The median sales tax in St. Francis for the most recent year with available data, 2014, was $1,832, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for 2017.
