Ramsey home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2018 in Ramsey rose by $15,700 while total sales increased by 38%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2018, there were 109 homes sold, with a median sale price of $250,600 - a 6.7% increase over the $234,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 79 homes sold in Ramsey in the fourth quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Ramsey for 2018 was $2,713. In 2014, the median sales tax was $2,240. This marks an increase of 21.1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.1%.
