Centerville home prices rise in October 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2018 in Centerville rose by $123,250 while total sales increased by 75%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2018, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $350,000 - a 54.4% increase over the $226,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Centerville in October 2017.

The median sales tax in Centerville for 2018 was $3,348. In 2014, the median sales tax was $3,266. This marks an increase of 2.5%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1%.
