Columbia Heights home prices fall in September 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2018 in Columbia Heights fell by $9,000 while total sales increased by 200%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2018, there were 39 homes sold, with a median sale price of $190,000 - a 4.5% decrease over the $199,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 13 homes sold in Columbia Heights in September 2017.

The median sales tax in Columbia Heights for 2018 was $2,326. In 2014, the median sales tax was $1,588. This marks an increase of 46.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.2%.
