Centerville home prices fall in September 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2018 in Centerville fell by $3,100 while total sales increased by 125%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2018, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $265,000 - a 1.2% decrease over the $268,100 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Centerville in September 2017.

The median sales tax in Centerville for 2018 was $3,348. In 2014, the median sales tax was $3,266. This marks an increase of 2.5%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.3%.
