Rep. John Heinrich recently took some time to remind those voting in the upcoming elections for open House seats, what he plans to continue focusing on in office, and in the legislature.
He addressed topics like transportation projects that boost the economy and ease travel, increased transparency and accountability of state agencies and fighting against unconstitutional gun measures, according to Heinrich’s Facebook post.
“Some of my top priorities this year are the Greater MN Gateway transportation projects for the Hwy 10/169 corridor,” Heinrich said. “These include local projects such as Hwy 10 lane expansion, a railroad overpass at Ferry St./Hwy 47, and bridges at Sunfish Lake Blvd and Ramsey Blvd. Each will improve safety, allow for easier and faster travel, and boost our local economy.”
He also went on to speak about the financial status of the state and ensuring the state’s government does its job.
“I will also continue to prioritize tax relief given our state’s $1.3 billion surplus, accountability in our wasteful and mismanaged state agencies, safety on our public transit systems, and preventing extreme gun control proposals.”
