City of Anoka issued the following announcement on April 9.
Our warmest thanks to all for your mask donations. To support our backup supply, we are asking for personal protective equipment (PPE) items.
Please know that all of the donated items will be added to our inventory for use at such time the need arises. We are grateful for your generosity and partnership as we work to keep The Homestead at Anoka safe and healthy during this challenging time.
We gladly accept:
• Homemade masks (visit https://bit.ly/maskinformation for instructions)
• Headbands with buttons (prevents masks from rubbing on ears)
• Surgical and N95 masks
• Isolation gowns and cloth gowns
• Disposable paint suits
• Shoe covers
• Disposable gloves
• Eye protection including face shields and safety goggles
• Other items such as disinfectant wipes, antibacterial hand sanitizer
To arrange drop-off: please contact Jared Keeney at jkeeney@voa.org or (763) 528-6490
