City of Anoka issued the following announcement on May 13.
While these are unprecedented times for our state and country, open and fair elections represent the core of our democracy. Election planning must be carried out to support the constitutional right to vote, even in the face of this pandemic. Anoka's City Clerk Office has begun working on plans for the August Primary and November General Election. Safety measures will be in place.
