City of Anoka issued the following announcement on Aug. 8.
After much consideration, the Anoka Riverfest & Craft Fair Committee has decided to cancel the 2020 event that was set to be held on September 26, 2020. As you know, a decision was made in early April to move this year’s event from July to the end of September with the hopes that things would change and larger events could happen. After discussions with state officials and no sign of things opening up for larger events, the time is now to cancel the event.
Staff will be refunding all vendors and sponsors that have already paid for the 2020 event that haven’t already requested a refund.
Thank you for support of this event and let’s hope that we can have an event on July 10, 2021.
