Cost of college went up for all students at Anoka-Ramsey Community College

Tuition and fees rose 0.3 percent for 2018-19 at Anoka-Ramsey Community College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Minnesota students paid $5,073 to attend the two-year public institution this year – $14 more than the $5,059 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 75 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 434 students received grants or scholarships totaling $1.7 million and 287 students took out student loans totaling more than $1.4 million.

Including all undergraduates (8,845), 3,991 students used grants or scholarships totaling $15.1 million, and 2,142 students took out $13 million in federal student loans.
