City of Circle Pines issued the following announcement on Aug. 20.
The City of Circle Pines/Centennial Utilities is accepting applications for the position of Accounting Clerk. This full-time position is responsible for professional level of accounting work including preparing and processes city, utilities, fire and police accounts payable checks. Reviews and enters invoice data from vendors and accounting records to reflect appropriate payments. Also completes a variety of standard accounting transactions along with fulfilling receptionist duties such as directing calls and providing counter help to assist citizens and customers. Assist in administrative duties as needed. Minimum requirements of a High School Diploma or GED and two years demonstrated experience in accounting procedures. Degree in accounting/finance desired.
