CITY OF CENTERVILLE: Carbone’s Is Taking Steps To Safely Serve Up Delicious Food, Remember To Eat Local!

City of Centerville issued the following announcement on Sept. 14.

During these unprecedented times a reminder of what we're doing to keep you safe:

1. Takeout and Delivery. Convenient pickup window at our restaurant. No need to get our of your car. Our doors are not open to limit the risk to our customers and employees. All pickups are through our DRIVE UP WINDOW.

2. Contactless delivery is available. You let us know if you'd like contactless delivery and we will make it that way. No signing of credit card receipts. If you'd like top prepay/tip let us know. If you'd like a receipt please ask for it. Our delivery drivers disinfect their cars and wear gloves, masks and wash their hands before/after each delivery.

3. In addition to our regular cleaning schedule, we have reinforced good hygiene practices including increasing washing hands and have increased the frequency of the disinfection of all food contact surfaces (as well as delivery bags), and other frequently-touched surfaces. All employees wear masks and gloves are worn when handling food that is ready to eat with no cooking step. Our food is cooked in a 410-degree oven.
