Lexington home prices rise in the third quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2020 in Lexington rose by $3,550 while total sales decreased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2020, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $251,000 - a 1.4% increase over the $247,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Lexington in the third quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Lexington for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,015, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2020.
