City of Anoka issued the following announcement on Oct. 14.
There's still time to donate gently used books. If you'd like to donate, please drop off reading books for all ages by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 16 at Anoka City Hall. The collection boxes are in the lower level just off the staircase. Please no "informational" books - just general reading books. Then on Sunday, Nov. 1, from 1-4 p.m. at Rick Sorenson Park (2015 State Ave.), visit us for the Book UpCycle event where you can take home a few good reads. https://www.anokaminnesota.com/CivicAlerts.aspx?AID=114
