City Of Anoka issued the following announcement on Oct 25.
While there may be snow surrounding it now, the recycling trailer has already been emptied once - thanks to those that dropped off their aluminum cans for recycling! Our Public Services crew properly recycled them and the trailer awaits more cans!
This is a win-win; our Waterfowl for Warriors program benefits with the earnings from the recycled cans to support supplies, lunches, etc., while the City earns the recycling tonnage. The trailer is stationed off 7th Ave & Castle Field Blvd in a small parking lot just to the west of the Anoka Ice Arena, north of Castle Field, and east of Gray Ghost Fields and the Anoka windmill.
