City of Anoka issued the following announcement.
From November 2, 2020 through January 29, 2021, you can recycle your old, holiday string lights at Anoka City Hall.
Just bring your lights and place them in the collection boxes in the lower level of Anoka City Hall (2015 First Ave), Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (excluding holidays) and we
will recycle them for you.
Please do NOT bring any rope lights or holiday decorations, just the standard string lights are recyclable through our program. It is helpful for us when preparing them for recycling,
if you please make sure the bag or box you bring them in is clean.
