City of Anoka issued the following announcement on Jan. 7.
Anoka is accepting applications for a Full-Time Patrol Officer in the Anoka Police Department. Qualifications required: Minimum 3 months police-related experience with a municipality or Sheriff’s Department, Military, State or Tribal Agency, must obtain full-time POST licensure upon date of employment, minimum of 2-yr Associate of Arts or Associate of Science Degree, possess a valid, unrestricted MN Driver’s License, no prior adverse criminal record or police contact, ability to perform strenuous duties and to use sound judgment in emergency situations, and to communicate clearly & effectively under stressful situations. Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays on short notice. Base Salary Range: $4,945/mo. - $7,065/mo. Starting wage is DOE.
