The first quarter of 2021: Lexington experienced a 43.5% drop in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2021 in Lexington fell by $92,500 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2021, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $120,000 - a 43.5% decrease over the $212,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Lexington in the first quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Lexington for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,015, approximately 2.5% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2021.
