City of Coon Rapids issued the following announcement on February 23.

Drivers who use Highway 10 in Anoka will see plenty of orange construction cones starting this spring. The City of Anoka and MnDOT are working together to repair aging roads and bridges between 7th Ave. and Thurston Ave. Construction will take two years to complete.

Between April and November, drivers will encounter:

• Only one driving lane in each direction on Hwy. 10
• Ongoing ramp closures to/from Hwy. 10 and local roads
• Height restrictions at Thurston Ave. and Fairoak Ave. as new Hwy. 10 overpasses are constructed

You can learn more about the project and impacts at an open house which will take place on Wednesday, March 9 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Greenhaven Golf Course in Anoka. Information and graphics will be shown on large posters, and project staff will be on hand to answer questions.
