City of Coon Rapids issued the following announcement on March 1.
Due to the melting ice and snow, some residents may notice clogged storm drains in their neighborhood. The City has all street crews out working to clean storm drains and catch basins this week.
There are approximately 6,500 drains throughout the City. Crews will work through one section of the city at a time to check and clear every drain. The process will continue throughout the week and take several days to complete.
