City of Ramsey issued the following announcement on March 1.
The City of Ramsey is seeking a 7-Month Parks Maintenance Worker to assist our Parks staff with general maintenance of City-owned parks and trail systems. This is a 7-month long, temporary full-time position. Responsibilities include all aspects of parks maintenance, construction of new facilities and the operation of equipment while working in a variety of weather conditions. This individual also assists staff with several City events. All candidates must be at least 18 years old or older and possess a valid MN commercial driver’s license (Class A or B) with both air brake & tanker endorsements. This is a temporary full-time AFSCME union position, subject to DOT random drug and alcohol testing. This will not lead to regular employment at the conclusion of the season. The 2022 wage is $19.511/hour. Deadline to apply is 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, March 20, 2022.
