City of Coon Rapids issued the following announcement on March 8.
Grant recipients for the 2022 Front Door program have been selected. The winning 80 addresses were announced during a LIVE drawing online and on cable television Wednesday night. Another 25 addresses were put on a waiting list.
You can watch the drawing in its entirety at the YouTube link below. The winners will also be contacted by email, letter and a phone call.
The intent of the Front Door program is to pay a portion of project costs to Coon Rapids property owners who will make certain exterior improvements to the front (street side) of their home, increasing its curb appeal which benefits the entire community. There are no income limits to participate in this program.
