City of Coon Rapids: Help the ACBC Food Shelf!

City of Coon Rapids issued the following announcement on March 18.

March is Minnesota FoodShare Month, a time to help food shelves across the state help others in need.

The Coon Rapids Police Department and the Senior Center are co-sponsoring a Drive-By Food Drive on Thursday, March 24 from 1-3 p.m. Just pull up in front of the Coon Rapids Civic Center and volunteers will unload your donations. You don't event need to get out of your vehicle!

Non-perishable food items will be accepted along with checks made payable to the ACBC Food Shelf. Monetary donations go further during FoodShare Month. For every dollar donated, the ACBC Food Shelf can purchase $8 worth of products to stock the shelves.
