Spring Recycling Day is May 7

The City of Ramsey is hosting its annual Spring Recycling Day on Saturday, May 7, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Ramsey Public Works Campus, 14199 Jaspar Street. Household appliances, tires, fluorescent bulbs, mattresses and box springs, electronics, televisions, computer monitors, batteries, scrap metal, used oil, standard household materials like glass containers and plastic bottles will be accepted. Fees to recycle these items range from .50 cents to $35.00. Free document shredding is also available. Garbage of any kind, yard and tree waste, window/door glass panes, furniture (other than mattresses and box springs), plastic containers larger than 1 gallon, construction debris, paint or other household hazardous waste will not be accepted.
