The City of Ramsey is seeking a full-time IT Security Administrator. The primary objective of this position may include, but is not limited to mitigating unauthorized access to data on City-managed networks, through the planning, implementation, and administration of cybersecurity solutions and best practices. This position focuses heavily on network security and will work closely with all departments, LOGIS, and other affiliated entitles to identify present security needs, as well as future needs. This position also supports the IT Department with day-to-day troubleshooting, monitoring, and training. This position is one of three IT Department members and will provide back-up, mutually shared responsibilities, and cross-training to each other. This is a full-time exempt level position working the City’s core hours of 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. The 2022 hiring wage is between $33.982 and $37.380/hour depending on qualifications.
