Notice is hereby given pursuant to Minnesota Statute 205.13; Subd 2, that candidate filings for the City of Anoka elected offices will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, and ends at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2022. Our offices will be closed for Memorial Day on Monday, May 30, 2022.
The amount of candidate filings received will determine whether the City of Anoka will hold a municipal primary election on August 9, 2022.
Candidates for the following offices file with the Anoka City Clerk, 2015 First Avenue, Anoka, Minnesota 55303.
City Offices:
Regular Municipal Election to elect: Mayor for a term of two years. City Councilmember (2 seats) for a full-term of four years each.
