When to Call, Why To Call

Did you know that 911 is not just for emergencies? Anytime you require a response from the police or fire department in Anoka County - even in non-emergency situations - calling 911 is your best first step.

Some examples of situations where you should call 911 are barking dog complaints, dog bites or animal control concerns, vehicle lockouts, welfare checks, protection/restraining order violations, suspicious activity, accidents, recreational fire complaints, medical emergencies and criminal activity.

Please dial 911! Any issue that might require a response or visit from a patrol officer or community service officer in Anoka County should be reported to 911.
