Did you know that 911 is not just for emergencies? Anytime you require a response from a police or fire department in Anoka County - even in non-emergency situations - calling 911 is your best first step.
If you have a barking dog complaint, dog bite or animal control concerns, such as stray animals or animal neglect and mistreatment concerns, you should call 911.
Some other examples of situations where you should call 911 are vehicle lockouts, welfare checks, protection/restraining order violations, suspicious activity, accidents, recreational fire complaints, medical emergencies and criminal activity.
