The Planning Division of Community Development is seeking the public’s input on updating and clarifying the City’s Zoning Code – Chapter 117. Many of the changes envisioned are purely organizational—grouping like topics together or eliminating redundant information. Over the years, Planning Staff has heard from residents, business owners, and developers that certain regulations are overly complicated, burdensome, or archaic. Based on your experiences, we’d like to hear your issues and concerns with the Zoning Chapter. An online survey can be accessed here and will be open until August 1. Over the fall, the Planning Commission will review these concerns and recommend modifications for adoption by the City Council.
