Q2: Lexington experienced a 3.8% drop in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2022 in Lexington fell by $11,450 while total sales increased by 250 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $290,000 - a 3.8 percent decrease from the $301,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Lexington in the second quarter of 2021.

The median sales tax in Lexington for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,015, approximately one percent of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2022.
