First half of 2022: Columbia Heights experienced an 8.5% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2022 in Columbia Heights rose by $22,450 while total sales decreased by nine percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June, there were 132 homes sold, with a median sale price of $287,450 - an 8.5 percent increase over the $265,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 145 homes sold in Columbia Heights in the first half of 2021.

The median sales tax in Columbia Heights for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,478, approximately 0.9 percent of the median home sale price for the first half of 2022.
