Pricing for the median home in Bethel increased during the first half of 2022

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2022 in Bethel rose by $80,000 while total sales decreased by 40 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $280,000 - a 40 percent increase over the $200,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Bethel in the first half of 2021.

The median sales tax in Bethel for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,158, approximately 0.8 percent of the median home sale price for the first half of 2022.
