The City of Ramsey is seeking a full-time Streets Maintenance Worker in the Public Works Department. The 2022 starting wage is $24.389 per hour. This individual provides general maintenance of public streets, right-of-ways, storm sewer systems, parking lots and any other related municipal facilities or equipment; as well as snow plowing of public streets, trails and walks.
All Streets Maintenance Workers are required to be a member of the on-call team and work a rotation on-call schedule 8 weeks per year. Members of the on-call team must reside within approximately 30 minutes from the Public Works Facility (14199 Jaspar Street NW) and be available to respond during evenings, weekends and holidays.
Must possess a Commercial Class A or B driver’s license with both air brakes and tanker endorsements. This is an AFSCME union position.
