Our firefighters look forward to October every year for the chance to meet and interact with the community at the annual Fire Department Open House. This year's event takes place Saturday, Oct. 1 from 10 a.m. to noon at Sand Creek Park, 1008 Northdale Boulevard.
Check out fire trucks, a helicopter and other emergency vehicles... and even try using a real fire hose! Sparky the Fire Dog, Freddy the Fire Truck and a K-9 team will be there too. Learn about fire prevention, watch a kitchen fire demonstration and much more! Cookies, coffee and juice available.
