The Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce will begin our 70th year of operation with our Annual Meeting on Wednesday, October 12th. The event will be held at Greenhaven Golf & Banquet Center in Anoka. This in-person event will begin with registration and a breakfast is from 7:00 to 7:45 AM followed by the program from 7:45 to 9 AM.
We will be honoring retiring Board members and announcing the Business of the Year, Ambassador of the Year, President Award winners and introducing the inaugural class to the Chamber’s Hall of Fame.
Our guest speaker will be Jason DeRusha from WCCO Radio. Jason is the new host of WCCO Radio’s 3 to 6pm show “Drivetime with DeRusha.” Jason made the move to radio in June after nearly 20 years at WCCO-TV: Jason woke us up for the last decade as the anchor of Channel 4’s morning news. He’s also the Food and Dining Editor at Minnesota Monthly magazine, recommending restaurants throughout the state for more than 15 years. Jason lives in Maple Grove with his wife and two teenagers.
