The City of Ramsey is seeking three (3) individuals to work as Utilities Maintenance Workers in our Public Works Department. These individuals provide general and skilled maintenance of public water and sewer utilities. This includes annual maintenance and trouble shooting of hardware, software and all other components of the utility systems. Utility Maintenance Workers will be part of the on-call team (following six months of training) and will work 7 – 8 rotating weeks throughout the year earning overtime pay. On-call team members must be available to respond during evenings, weekends and holidays. These positions are also involved in snow plowing of public streets, trails and walks that sometimes start as early as 2:00 am.

The 2023 wage scale is $25.749 to $32.186 per hour. These are AFSCME union positions and are subject to D.O.T. random drug and alcohol testing.
