2023 Holiday Lighting Contest Now Open

The City of Coon Rapids is accepting entries for the 2022 Holiday Lighting Contest sponsored by the Coon Rapids Arts Commission.

Coon Rapids residents are encouraged to participate and win one of four cash prizes in two different categories: Still and Motion.

• DEADLINE TO ENTER: Friday, Dec. 2 at noon.
• ENTER HERE: Use our online registration form to view all rules and submit your display.

Entries will be judged during the time period of Dec. 8-11 between the hours of 5:30–10 p.m. Judging is based on overall impact, visual appeal, creativity, and variety. Winners are selected by the Arts Commissioners & all decisions are final.

Stay tuned... in mid-December the City of Coon Rapids will provided a map of all entries for residents to take self-guided tours of the lighting displays.

Winners will be announced on CTN Channel 859 (HD) and 15 (standard), posted on the Coon Rapids website, in the winter edition of the Coon Rapids Connection City Newsletter and on the City Facebook page.
