The City of Ramsey is seeking an individual to work as an Engineering Technician II. Working under the general guidance and direction of the Senior Engineering Technician, this position will assist in the application of principles, methods, and techniques of civil engineering technology. This position will perform support engineering work including construction inspection and materials testing, land surveying, plan review, and public service duties related to public works. This position will also perform routine and entry-level technical engineering work to support the construction of sewer, stormwater, street, and water systems, and other public works projects and programs. This position may also assist with snow plowing and general maintenance of public streets, parks, right-of-way’s, sewer and water systems, parking lots and other municipal facilities and/or equipment.
This is a full-time AFSCME union position working forty (40) hours per week. The 2023 hiring wage is $29.007 to $31.908 per hour depending on qualifications.  Applications are accepted until 11:59 pm on Monday, January 16, 2023.
