Rep. Harry Niska Criticizes Governor Tim Walz and Responds to Political Developments on Social Media

Minnesota State Representative Harry Niska used his social media platform on September 16, 2025, to criticize Governor Tim Walz and respond to recent political announcements.

In an early post, Niska addressed the Minnesota governor directly, writing “Let’s tell @Tim_Walz it is time to turn the page.” (September 16, 2025). Later that day, he commented on the announcement of a candidate for office whom he identified as a former senior staffer selected by Governor Walz. Niska stated, “The hand-picked choice (and former senior staffer) of @Tim_Walz, who picked today of all days to announce that he wants Minnesota to suffer under 4 more years of his divisive leadership and rhetoric. No thanks.” (September 16, 2025).

In a separate post referencing financial news from the same day, Niska remarked “$TSLA up 2.82% on his announcement day...” (September 16, 2025).

Governor Tim Walz has served as Minnesota’s governor since January 2019 and previously represented Minnesota's First Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives.
