CITY OF ANOKA: Fix-it Clinic

Brokenappliance

City of Anoka issued the following announcement on Oct. 27.

Don't trash it - fix-it!  The City of Anoka's Waste Reduction & Recycling Board is happy to host a FREE Fix-It Clinic on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Anoka City Hall (2015 First Ave.) in the lower level Community Room.

The Fix-It Clinic brings many benefits to you, including:

Saving you money.

Meeting new people.

Preserving old items that may be of value to you.

Reducing waste in the community.

Bring in your broken, small household appliances, clothing, electronics and more. Our handy fix-it volunteers will provide free guided assistance to help you disassemble, troubleshoot and fix your item. No pre-registration required. Items must be carry-in and less than 40 pounds. No oversized items. Please do not bring any items with fluids (gas, oil, etc.). With respect to our volunteers' time, the last couple of items will be accepted at 12:30 p.m.

Thank you to our many wonderful volunteers! We are always looking for volunteer fixers! If you can help, call Pam at 763-576-2725 or email pbowman@ci.anoka.mn.us
