City of Blaine issued the following announcement on Sept. 30.
Please keep in mind that all decaying plant material that ends up in the city’s ponds and streams contributes to greater phosphorous levels and poorer water quality. Do not rake or blow leaves into the street. Either mulch leaves or drop them off at the Anoka County Compost site.
Go to https://BlaineMN.gov/AnokaCountyCompost for more information on the Anoka County compost sites. Also consider adopting the storm drain in your neighborhood to keep it clean and clear. Learn more at https://BlaineMN.gov/AdoptaDrain.
